"T-Shirt"
Yesterday was the first day of the year that I went outside with only a t-shirt. The sudden weather change threw me off guard a little bit. It messed with my internal rhythm. But I'm glad we're heading for the summer again.
I'm not necessarily attached to one particular season. I really like that it changes. The change makes you really appreciate each season. If I had to pick one with a gun pointed to my head, I would pick winter though. Maybe because I was born in December.
But now we are heading for the summer again, and that means you can conquer the outside world in just your t-shirt. This always feels kind of strange at first when you've just worn a big warm coat all winter long. It's almost like some armour has come off. It makes you feel kind of naked and vulnerable.
I found this spot when I was driving to one of my guitar students. I drove past this place a 100 times, but it's only until now that I took the time to get out of the car and just enjoy the view. That is the big benefit and reason why I like to make these pictures. It forces me to find something ordinary every day and write something about it. It also makes my everyday surroundings that always seemed to look so plain and uninteresting, all of the sudden look special and beautiful. I hope you like it too.
What's your favourite season and why?
